Hi there, Emily Strobl! You're doing terrific! The problem is with the "extends" in list.html. It is meant to extend the layout.html, but you also have to specify in which directory that template resides.

You have currently:

{% extends 'layout.html' %}

But you need:

{% extends 'code_challenges/layout.html' %}
