Blog Previewer: Getting Values from Form Fields

Hi, I am just finishing first section of Jquery (basics). Having trouble running first Jquery program.

The hide function only works with the rest of the code commented out. I have been following the course to the letter.

$('#flashMessage').hide();

$('#previewButton).click(function() { const title = $('blogTitleInput').val(); const content = $('blogContentInput').val();

$('#blogTitlePreview').text(title); $('#blogContentPreview').html(content);

$('#flashMessage').slideDown(2000).fadeIn(2000).delay(3000).slideUp();

});

Hope someone can help me.
