CSS How to Make a Website Customizing Colors and Fonts Use Classes in CSS

Body color not changing to grey

The last piece of css added in the video for body { background-color: #fff; color: #999; } isn't changing the color of the links used in the portfolio part of the site, they're remaining green. Not sure why. Help?

Hi Justin,

Are you talking about the captions under the images? They should still be green at this point and they do show as green in the video.

Since they are links and have already been given a color they will not inherit the grey color applied to the body.

You will end up writing some css later that will change the color of the captions under the images.

..I totally forgot they were links and not text. Wow. Thanks.
