CSS How to Make a Website Customizing Colors and Fonts Use Classes in CSS

body in style sheet

Why has the color of the text in the footer only changed when you set the body selector in the style sheet?

No styling was given to the "p" tags in the footer, so they take the styling of the "body" and setting the color in the "body" won't effect links or "a" tags.
