Hi guys,
I've just built a site for a client and have included an image carousel but have noticed a glitch on iOS devices that when the site first loads and the carousel slides through the image gallery each new image shows as a grey background for around a second before loading the actual image.
It only happens on the first cycle through the images and after that it behaves as you would expect.
I haven't been able to replicate the problem on any desktop browser, or on Android devices just on iOS, regardless of the browser I am using.

Has anyone had any similar experience? Or any ideas on how to fix it?
