Brand Identity Document - What to include?

Hello fellow Treehouse users :).

I was recently asked to create a brand identity document for a programmer that I am working with. I have the basic knowledge of design but I do not know what to include in the document.

What do you think should be included?

Hi, I would include several sections with a brief analysis of why you're using certain aspects.

For example;

  • Logo Specifics (clear space, construction, minimum size, size ratio

  • Typography and Typeface details (family, when to use)

  • Colour Specifications (primary, expanded family)

  • Logo Styles (Full tone colour, greyscale, solid black, social media)

  • Logo Best Practises (do not change: font, colour, resize, logomark)

These can be adapted depending on the project but are usually my go-to template. Hope this helps :)
