Bug. I cannot seem to solve the problem here.

That is what I typed, but keeps returning an error message saying that I need to declare a 20px background-size

Hi there! You're doing great and this is not a bug, it's just a misinterpretation of the instructions. The instructions say to set the background size to 20px square. By this they mean 20px wide by 20px high.

background-size:  20px 20px;

This will set both the width and height of the background to 20px.
