In the code below, we want to do two different things. We want to simply hide the TextView, but we want to completely remove the EditText from the layout. Add the appropriate View constants to do this.

mTextView.setVisibility(View.)__; mEditText.setVisibility(View.)___

Hi,

to hide the textview, we use View.INVISIBLE

to remove the edittext from the layout, we use View.GONE
