Bummer! Try Again

Can you please improve the error messages? They are not descriptive at all!

import random def nchoices(list, num): result = [] while (num): num -= 1 result.append(random.choose(list)) return result

How should I fix the above code?

choices.py
import random
def nchoices(list, num):
    result = []
    while (num):
        num -= 1
        result.append(random.choose(list))
    return result

The function you want to call is random.choice. Choose does not exist. The error messages are usually pretty vague so whenever I run into a problem I try it in my own python. Those error messages are usually a little more descriptive.

import random
def nchoices(list, num):
    result = []
    while (num):
        num -= 1
        result.append(random.choice(list))
    return result
