Bummer: You need to set the 'href' attribute of the first <a> element to 'cakes.html'.

The html files are local, no need for the "www." prefix. Simply "cakes.html" is all you need to reference a local file. You need to remove "www." from all three anchor href attributes.

Hi Gerald,

The instructions tell you to:

Make the text inside each list item a link. The first item should link to cakes.html, the second to pies.html and the third to candy.html.

You did not link to cakes.html, you linked to www.cakes.html. Similarly, you did not link to pies.html, you linked to www.pies.html. Also, you did not link to candy.html, you linked to www.candy.html.
