Calculating Hypotenuse

I am having some trouble figuring out the solution to this problem. Please help

namespace Treehouse.CodeChallenges
    class RightTriangle
        public static CalculateHypotenuse(LengthA, LengthB)
            Double LengthA = Math.Sqrt(Console.ReadLine());
            Double LengthB = Math.Sqrt(Console.ReadLine());
            CalculateHypotenuse = Math.Sqrt(LengthA * LengthB)

        return double Math.Sqrt.CalculateHypotenuse

1 Answer

The Pythagorean Theorem is A^2 + B^2 = C^2

so your function should return

Sqrt((LengthA*LengthA) + (LengthB*LengthB))
