JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Making Decisions with Conditional Statements Add a Final Else Clause

Can anyone help with this?

I don't know what to write in the else clause.

script.js
var isAdmin = false;
var isStudent = false;

if ( isAdmin ) {
    alert('Welcome administrator');
} else if (isStudent) {
    alert('Welcome student');
} else (isAdmin === true, isStudent === true) {
    alert('Who are you?');
}

You're very close. An if / else if / else structure looks like this

if (condition) {
    // do something
} else if (condition) {
    // do something
} else { // notice else don't have conditions
    // do something
}

Else statements don't require or I don't think even take conditions. An else happens when they other two if's or else if's don't match there conditions. It's kind of like a fallback. Else none of that is true, then do this.

var isAdmin = false;
var isStudent = false;

if ( isAdmin ) {
    alert('Welcome administrator');
} else if (isStudent) {
    alert('Welcome student');
} else {
    alert('Who are you?')
}

Thanks!
