In the challenge you're simply asked to insert a boolean value, that will give the correct result. A boolean value is either true or false. This means that you should be passing in true or false in the condition statement. When passing in a boolean you should not use any comparison operators. This means that your code should look like this.

if(boolean){
   alert("this is true")
} else {
   alert("this is false")
}

I'll let you figure out yourself if you should pass in true or false to get the right result.

I think you need to initialize that variable in order to compare it.
