Development Tools What's a Text Editor?

Can I stick to Atom?

I am used to Atom for my text editor. Is there any meaningful difference between it and VS?

The only difference I found is Atom is bit heavy as compare to VS code. VS code is light and also have easy user interface to work with. You can use Atom if you're comfortable with it. I'm right now using it as my secondary text editor sometime.

It's really based on personal preference. :) I used to use atom regularly, but then I discovered all of the extensions that VSCode has. I tried it, and I haven't gone back. I would recommend just trying some different code editors out and seeing what you like. There is no wrong answer! :D

I spent about an hour or longer looking up Youtube video's because there was no entry into using atom after being told to use it. It is a bit frustrating being told to now use a different text editor when we didn't really do anything in atom :/. Is what it is I guess.

Hi Nicholas,
