Android Threads and Services Introducing Services Creating a Service

can some one please please , i cant get it, i dont know why now, the videos say this the task asks the opposite, help me

Challenge Task 2 of 3 Then override 'onStartCommand', and when started send a Message to your Thread's Handler to tell it to start updating!

thank you for the response, but i am totally failling this task, cant figure it out, can you walk me me through, or maybe some how if you can help me get hold of the teacher maybe that can help, i am running out of time, where is ben deitch in this, very frustrated now, i signed up to be taught not to be confused,
