Courses Plus Student 6,497 PointsFor the first challenge your code is correct. A parameter is a value passed by a function & they wanted it to be type string, which you did.

If it is the second challenge then you need to add the persons name to the println statement using string interpolation.
func greeting(person: String) {
println("Hello \(person)")
}
