Can this project/course be done in android studio?

I am trying to avoid installing IntelliJ IDEA. I was wondering if its possible to follow and finish this course just by using android Studio. Thanks in advance.

Yes, go to files in Android studio, select settings, Click on plugins, Click on install Jetbrains Plugin, then search for Kotlin, Install the Kotlin plugin, Then restart android studio.
