Java Java Basics Perfecting the Prototype Parsing Integers

Can you also convert a int to a string?

If you are able to convert a string into an int, are you able to do vice vera? If so, can you do others? Like Char.parsechar(var); ?

You can convert an integer to a string with the "Integer.toString(var)" method. But there are several other ways as well. The one that is probably closest to to an inverse might be "String.valueOf(var)". And it's probably even more common to convert as part of formatting for output.

But there are not "parse" methods for all possible types, like char. But you can always convert to a string, and then select a specific character from the string.

Ok, but what are the possible types for parse?

The numeric primitives have parse methods: Byte, Short, Integer, Long, Float, and Double.
