Can you buy 6months or a Years worth of treehouse as a gift to a friend?

I want to gift 6 months or a Year (still deciding) worth of treehouse courses to a friend. Is there a gift card (digital version), or something I can purchase that allows me to give this to someone? I have searched the obvious places on the site and gotten nothing

Do you know? The State of Oregon offers free Treehouse training to its residents. (https://teamtreehouse.com/code-oregon)

If you go to Account Settings and then go to Group Members (in the right column), you have the option to add someone and you get billed for it. Doesn't sound exactly like a gift card, especially since it sounds like you'd have to remember to remove the person after 6mo or a year but it allows you to give someone else an account.

Adim Ofunne we do! We outline this on our support page at https://teamtreehouse.com/support

Just shoot us an email at help@teamtreehouse.com inquiring about wanting to purchase an account for someone and we'll get the ball rolling!

Its nice with the gift card, but it would be nice if it was less technical and by that i mean, most elderly people or my wife would be scared away with the whole email concept, they wouldn't know what to ask for nor what to write and therefor not write you at all if gave them specific instructions on who to write.

Would be a lot easier if there was one page with one product and a check out for that product, let it be a month sub, which you could buff up by (n) times, like 1, 2 or 3 months etc. Thats a concept everybody who shops online would be familiar with, even my mom or my wife, whos nothing near technical, but they know how to fill a basket! :D

And its also easier to just place a purchase link on a wishlist rather then email instructions.

Kind regards, Poul A Happy Customer :D
