Can you edit a running docker app?

Can you edit a running docker app? Say I just wanted to change some text, would I have to edit the app, then dockerize it all over again?

Usually you will want to build a corrected image, if only to avoid confusion.

However, depending how you your image was set up, you may be able to get a shell within it, and at that point you may edit a file within it. You may be have trouble restarting however, again depending on how it is configured.
