I remeber from PYthon Basics that $ indicates the last line to look for a match in regular expressions. However, in the urls.py file, I see that only "^suggest/$" has it out of the 3 urls we created. Why is that so?

Treehouse Moderator 68,423 PointsThe dollar-sign signifies this point in the pattern must match the end of string. It's also know and an "end anchor".
The carot (^) is the equivalent "start anchor"
By enclosing the pattern with a ^ and ending in a $, it forces the pattern to match exactly with the entire input data.
