Can you still use Jquery plugins?

I did some search in jquery page and all the plugins I found are about 4- 6 years old now. Does this make them outdated?

Age alone wouldn't be a way to tell. The best bet would be to check the support web site for each plug-in and see if there's an update (or if it's still being distributed).

And sometimes things stop being supported but remain useful for many more years.
