Game Development How to Make a Video Game Build and Share a Unity Game Build for Windows & OS X

Cannot build to hardware.

When building, it does not allow me to build to Mac, PC, or Linux. The only one I can build from is Web Player, why is that? I'm on Windows 10.

Sorry fixed the problem, when installing Unity for some reason it does not check Windows, Linux, or Mac. So I had to reinstall Unity and check the boxes. I've finished the game now, it was a wonderful journey, and you did a magnificent job teaching things, thank you Nick!

Hi Cristian,

If you're on a Windows device, you won't be able to build to Mac or Linux. However, it's strange that you can't build to Windows. What type of hardware are you using?
