Cannot terminate server

I ran the server as instructed, but there are no instructions on how to terminate the server. I ended up googling a solution, but I was surprised no instructions were given for this. What is the proper way to terminate a server running on localhost?

Hello Caleb,

My main method is using the keyboard shortcut combination of CTRL + C at the same time.

Note: My environment is usually macOS and sometimes Ubuntu -- so it may differ depending on your operating system.
