Can't change from white to DARK PINK I just removed white and put code of dark pink

<RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:layout_width="match_parent" android:layout_height="match_parent" android:background="@android:color/#fff092b0" >

I copy and pasted the dark pink code insted of white as recommended but it doesn't work

hey there you will need to delete the "@android:color/" as this is a hard coded color you are going for
