can't connect user1 @localhost to treehouse_movie_db

17:20:05 use treehouse_movie_db Error Code: 1044. Access denied for user ''@'localhost' to database 'treehouse_movie_db' 0.000 sec

did make everything like in video except ip - I used default 127.0.01:3306 and grant acess to the database via local mysql instance at localhost as well.

what's wrong?

okay, did use "to user1@'127.0.0.1'" instead of "to user1@'%'"..

This fixed the same problem for me, so thank you!

Though I thought that using the '%' was supposed to work too?
