Python Basic Object-Oriented Python Welcome to OOP Adding to our Panda

Can't figure out what's wrong with my solution to this challenge

I was supposed to add the eat method to the class Panda and set the is_hungry attribute to False, provide a value for the name attribute and then RETURN a message.

class Panda: species = 'Ailuropoda melanoleuca' food = 'bamboo'

def __init__(self, name, age):
    self.is_hungry = True
    self.name = name
    self.age = age

def eat(self):
    self.is_hungry = False
    self.name = 'Bao Bao'
    return('{} eats {}.'.format(self.name, self.food))
panda.py
class Panda:
    species = 'Ailuropoda melanoleuca'
    food = 'bamboo'

    def __init__(self, name, age):
        self.is_hungry = True
        self.name = name
        self.age = age

    def eat(self):
        self.is_hungry = False
        self.name = 'Bao Bao'
        return('{} eats {}.'.format(self.name, self.food))

Hey Gustavo Guzmán, you are very close!

  • add space after return
  • remove assignment to self.name in eat method

Post back if you need more help. Good luck!!!

That was it!!! Thanks!
