HTML How to Make a Website CSS: Cascading Style Sheets Use ID Selectors

Can't find my mistake in the code to link css and html file

I wanted to test to see if my css and html file was linked. I can't seem to find the mistake that won't link them. Please take a look at my screenshot and see if you can find the mistake.

Hi Nicole! You're missing a couple of equals signs. You've typed this in your links to the stylesheets:

<link rel "stylesheet" href="css/normalize.css">
    <link rel "stylesheet" href="css/main.css">

That should be:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="css/normalize.css">
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/main.css">

Note the addition of equals signs between rel and "stylesheet". Hope this helps! :sparkles:
