Can't get challenge 1 to pass. I am using let navigationLinks = document.getElementsByTagName('nav'); but I get an err

I get the error 'Bummer. Was expecting 3 links not 1.' If I change the tag from 'nav' to anything else, I get 'Was expecting 3 links not 0'. I have also tried using '[nav=navigationLinks]'. I've also tried document.querySelectorAll('nav') and get the same results.

js/app.js
let navigationLinks = document.getElementsByTagName('nav');
let galleryLinks // = document.querySelectorAll('nav');// = document.getElementsByTagName('nav');
let footerImages // = document.querySelectorAll('nav');// = document.getElementsByTagName('nav');
// querySelectorAll

you are selecting by tag name the nav element. there is only one nav element in the html. it holds the links but is not a link itself. what are the actual link tags??? that is what you want to select.
