Development Tools Console Foundations Getting Started with the Console Running Commands

Can't get "Console" to work. I've refreshed, restarted, cleared cookies, different browser, asked tech support.

Does this actually work for any one? Tech Support asked me about my OS and browser and then didn't respond (three days ago). I'm at a total loss.

Yes, add to pocket, Web develeoper, Pin it, Adblock. I blocked them but didnt work.

I don't have any of those other extensions installed except for Adblock Plus. I just made sure to disable adblock plus on the "teamtreehouse.com" domain and everything has worked fine for me. I'm assuming that the console window will launch, but the console itself will not launch, right? Try another thing, if you will, which is to delete your recent history (including the cache and cookies), and then try to relaunch the console. It's worth a shot.

Yes, I've done those things. The console is still forever loading. thanks, I just wish treehouse would get back to me.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with the Console!

I've just checked this out and it looks like the backend service that powers the console service is working normally, and I was able to successfully launch a console from my browser.

Since I mostly work on the backend support for the website, I'm not too sure where to go from here, but I did ping our support team to let them know you were having trouble, so they should be reaching out to you soon.

FWIW, if you were to spin up an Ubuntu virtual server in VirtualBox or VMWare, you can follow along with the course that way instead if you're having trouble with the web-based console we offer. Hope that helps!
