Can't get through the code. Help!

I can't get through the code. can't understand what i'm missing.

Hi,

It looks like there is no append of the dismiss button. Try to append it after it's created. 

//Create a button to dismiss modal and att it to modal
var $dismissButton = $("<button>Dismiss</button>");
$modal.append($dismissButton) ;
