Can't make the pipe | character in the console

How can i do that?

I tried to use the english keyboard but it don't work

Hey,

On an English keyboard, it should be <shift + \>

(The shift and backslash key, above the enter key).

As an international learning site the console used here should be able to work with different keyboards than the English one. It's quite annoying this way - and yes, I know, "a real programmer only uses an English keyboard layout".

Try to use "Alt + 0124" to get the pipe character.
