Ruby User Authentication with Rails Password Hashing and Sign In Creating the Sessions Controller

Can't pass Quiz

I fill answer but it fails

Type the method that we would call on the user object to check the submitted password:

user = User.find_by(email: params[:email])
if user && user.authenticate(params[:password])

Hi Ivan,

Your example is perfect but this question require you to type just the name of the method which is authenticate. Don't add anything related to params.

When you try to add extra codes, it will give you errors. ;)
