Can't type backslash and curly brackets in the workspace.

I am using a macbook. Typing the signs in any other programm is working. Any ideas?

I assume you mean in the console of your workspace since I had the same issue. I don't know why it doesn't work directly in the console, but a workaround is to type them into the text editor and then copying and pasting them into the console.
