Where Kenneth asks for the user to type code, there seems to be no way to do it.

961 PointsHi there Ralph, I'm guessing based on the amount of points you currently have for Python you're currently stuck at the first code challenge: "Create a variable."
When you go to the challenge, does your page look something like the following?
If you have the dark-grey/blue field called "variable.py," you should be able to interact with it.
My gut's telling me that you're not seeing this section at all. My suggestion(s) for rectifying this problem may not be the most conclusive, but it should hopefully help steer you towards the right direction.
While most browsers are automatically updated, sometimes an update may have slipped through the cracks and simply wasn't downloaded or applied. Generally the version will be displayed in the "About" page of the browser, or within the settings. Simply do a google search and ask our good friend to discover the whereabouts of your browsers version. Mayhap if it's indeed out of date, then downloading an update for the browser can be acquired from the primary website of the browser, or (most likely) on the same page where you'll figure out the browsers version. If it's not out of date...
Extensions and add-ons are great bundles of joy which can help us in our daily tasks, but sometimes they can be the source of our many woes as well both due to their nature and inadvertently due to being out of date. Sufficient to say, just disable these if you have 'em and see if that clears up the issue. If it's not extensions or add-ons....
I have a very strong feeling that Team Tree House's site is built to support most, if not all browsers. Suffice to say, if you're not using any of the common/popular web browsers, it's possible that you're using one which does not have proper support for this website. Try something like Chrome or Firefox and see if that rectifies your situation. If a new browser doesn't help...
Unlikely as it may be, the issue may not be the browser itself but something to do with your rig (PC). TreeHouse Support should be able to help nail down the problem you're facing! Just hit the support button up top and send 'em a message. Be sure to let them know what browser you're using, what version it is, as well as what platform you're on with it's current version (such as: Windows 7 - PC, or an Apple iPhone X, as a couple of examples).
Hopefully, your situation will be resolved soon so you can get back to learning how to code post haste!
