Can't upload project to GitHub

I've tried adding my project on GitHub just like what is shown in the video, but none of my files show up.

All I can see is gitattributes, and none of my files. How do I upload my files?

I've watched the video, and my GitHub desktop looks nothing like what is in the video, so it's not helping.

I’ve updated the Setting Up Github Desktop video in the Share Your Techdegree Projects With GitHub Desktop course to provide the correct download links. The version you’re having trouble with is Github Desktop BETA, and isn’t the version Treasure uses in the course. Please download the the versions here to follow along with the course:
