iOS Introduction to Core Data with Swift 2 Fetching Data Using Fetch Requests Performing a Fetch Request

Cast fails...

When I wrote the following line:

items = try managedObjectContext.execute(fetchRequest) as! [Item]

There is a warning message that says "Cast from 'NSPersistentStoreResult' to unrelated type '[Item]' always fails. I have recently upgraded to Xcode 8. Is anyone else getting this warning when following along in this course?
