Challenge 1

I've been stuck on this challenge for about two weeks, no matter how many times i watch the video, i cant figure it out.

heres what i have inside of the IBAction scope.

self.usernameField = username; self.passWordField = password;

i feel like its everything the question is asking for, unless they want me to use the signUp block

your logic is backwards. you need to store the values of the text fields in two properties, self.username and self.password, what you are doing is the other way around. try:

self.username = self.usernameField.text;
self.password = self.passwordField.text;
