challenge 3

hi guys! how do i create create a new variable named email_greeting that puts treehouse and name into "x loves y" so x is treehouse and y is name??

name.py
name= "lokuthaba"
treehouse= "Tree" + "house"
email_greeting= (treehouse

You need to use the format method of the string class like this

name= "lokuthaba"
treehouse= "Tree" + "house"
email_greeting= "X loves Y".format(treehouse,name)

hence if the string you want to return is "Treehouse loves lokuthaba" that's how you would do it.

But you'd use {} instead of either X or Y.

upps yes {} instead of the X and Y

got it! thanks guys
