Treehouse TeacherAnne Yeiser I'm not sure either. If I take this code and copy/paste it into the challenge, it passes all four steps:

xhr.onreadystatechange = function() {
if (xhr.readyState === 4 && xhr.status ===200) {
document.getElementById('sidebar').innerHTML=xhr.responseText;
}
};
xhr.open('GET', 'sidebar.html');
xhr.send();
Maybe restart the challenge and try this code again?

Treehouse TeacherHi there! It's simply a capitalization error 
.innerHtml instead of .innerHTML. Make that adjustment and give it another shot!
