Challenge help-styling by element and class

Hello all,

For some reason I am having a tough time completing the last task giving the paragraph a border. I've used different formats and yet the error is always 'set paragraph to red'. Any help is appreciated.

index.html
<!doctype html>
<html>
  <head>
    <link href="styles.css" rel="stylesheet">
  </head>
  <body>

    <p class="main-pg">My amazing website</p>

  </body>
</html>
styles.css
{
  .main-pg {
    border: solid red 4px;
  }

There's nothing wrong with your HTML document. The issue is that you have a { too much at the start of your CSS file. The code should be like this.

.main-pg {
    border: 4px solid red;
}

Take note: it doesn't matter which order the border values are. This works too:

.main-pg {
    border: solid red 4px;
}

Thanks Ben. I was getting frustrated a bit since I did use both orders. Just got to remember that one little thing can mess up the code.

No worries, happens to the best of us. Keep coding! :)
