Challenge Task 2 of 5, num_courses

Hi, I am stuck in Challenge Task 2 of 5, here is the question below.

Create a new function named num_courses that will receive the same dictionary as its only argument. The function should return the total number of courses for all of the teachers.

Here is my code I tried but couldn't finish. Could you please help me to solve it?

teachers.py
# The dictionary will look something like:
# {'Andrew Chalkley': ['jQuery Basics', 'Node.js Basics'],
#  'Kenneth Love': ['Python Basics', 'Python Collections']}
#
# Each key will be a Teacher and the value will be a list of courses.
#
# Your code goes below here.

def num_teachers(string):
    dict_list = int(len(string))
    return dict_list

def num_courses(string):
    list1 = string.values()
    for x in list1:
        list2 = len(x)
    return
