The challenge asks you to log the string (and the error message hints using console.log), not return the string. Try:

angular.module('foobar', []).directive('customDirective', function() {
   console.log("This is a custom directive!");
});

Oh, ok! Thank You very much

Try this code

angular.module('foobar', []).directive('customDirective', function() {
   return { template: 'This is a custom directive!' }
});

Still I get - Bummer! Your directive function needs to call console.log().
