Challenge task question

I'm a bit confused when in the Challenge task section it states: Important: The code you write in each task should be added to the code written in the previous task. Does this mean I should be copying all of the previous challenge task code and pasting it into the newest challenge?

no, just the tasks for that challenge. Each challenge can have multiple tasks. so you do task 1, dont remove any code and then do task 2, then for task 3, make sure you keep the code from task 1 and 2 in there as well. you dont have to copy and paste anything, just dont delete any code from previous tasks of that challenge and you will be fine.
