Change the value for the variable to cookie dough

I have tried several things. First I tried

<?php
$flavor = "cookie dough";

echo "<p>Your favorite flavor of ice cream is ";
echo $flavor;
echo ".</p>";
if ( $flavor == "cookie dough") { echo "Randy's favorite flavor is cookie dough, also!"; }

?>

Then I tried

<?php
$flavor = "strawberry";

echo "<p>Your favorite flavor of ice cream is ";
echo $flavor;
echo ".</p>";
$flavor = "cookie dough";
if ( $flavor == "cookie dough") { echo "Randy's favorite flavor is cookie dough, also!"; }

?>

Neither the value of the variable being set was right, nor the value being changed... Helppppp

<?php
$flavor = "Cookies and Cream";

echo "<p>Your favorite flavor of ice cream is " ;
echo $flavor;
echo ".</p>";
if($flavor == "cookie dough"){
echo "<p>Randy's favorite flavor is cookie dough, also!</p>";
}
?>

you're omitting the p tags

OHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I can't believe I missed that... Thank you!
