Changes to PHP Tracks

We have a lot of new PHP content to add to the tracks! We're splitting the current track into two new tracks so as not to overwhelm new students, and also give you a more precise understanding of what you'll learn in each track.

Beginning PHP will introduce you to HTML, CSS and PHP. You'll understand the basic structure and syntax of PHP and build your first site.

Intermediate PHP will take you through creating more dynamic content by storing and retrieving data. You'll also learn to interact with relational databases, CSV, JSON and XML.

Also stay tuned for the "Object-Oriented PHP" track and some new Object-Oriented content that will be coming out in the next couple months!!!

I'm excited to share these great new additions with you! As alway, if you have any comments or suggestions, please let me know here or send me an email. You can reply to any email you receive from me (yes I do check it).

Thanks for your dedication and support. Keep up the hard work! Alena Holligan PHP Teacher

Hi Alena, your courses are incredibly challenging. But that is said with some deal of positivity! I've take courses now on several different languages, and perhaps things are starting to click by coincidence, but I think with your courses arrays are starting to become very sensible to me for the first time.

The rigidness of your courses, frequency of your quizes and challenges, and difficulty of your questions, have been very enlightening. Thank you!

Thank you :) Keep up the hard work. The evaluations (quizzes and code challenges) are there to help you learn. Recall has been shown to be one of the best ways to make the knowledge stick :)

So much of programming is repeated in every language that knowledge from one can really help build understanding in another.
