Changes to style.css are not being applied to website

Hey,

I'm following along with the video and trying to customize the twenty thirteen theme. when i upload the changes i've made to style.css. nothing has changed on the website.

I've gone over the steps half a dozen times now, anyone got any tips or now of any issues?

Thanks so much!

Next time open up dev tools in Chrome. Go to settings (gear icon) and check cache disabled. Then every time you have Chrome tools open the cache will be disabled. It is a lot easier to use a staging environment while tesing CSS changes without any caching plugins enabled if that is applicable to your site.

is the style.css linked to your WordPress?

so just tried the website on another browser (FF) and the changes are visible!

i normally use chrome i presume there is something going on with the cache in chrome?

anyone know of or had similar problems?

I'm running into the same problem. Cleared the cache in Chrome but no go. Works on Safari though.
