Check out from version control > github

I'm trying to import a project from github. I need to copy the url from github and paste in under "check out from version control" > github, and then paste it.

When I click on "check out from version control" the github doesn't pop up. It gives me only 3 options: git, mercurial and subversion.

What do I need to do to move forward with my education. I am not making any progress.
