426 Pointschild theme for twentythirteen
I believe I have completed steps for creating the child theme for this lesson and have it in my cpanel at Blue Host. I haven't been able to upload to the site. I questioned BlueHost and was told they don't have support for child themes, which is very strange. I believe I am only trying to manipulate my data base, and I would think there would be support for this activity.
I have reviewed Wordpress.org. No answer there.
Can you tell me what I can do?
At this stage in the course, I have a feeling I haven't set site in the best way for this course. The admin panels look different and work a bit different than those displayed in the course.
Would it work better if I move my site to Treehouse? I used the one-click open to create the site. Is there something in that process that is blocking what I am trying to do?
Should I have used the 5-minute WP installation? My data base is at BlueHost, not in my computer. Does this make a difference. Should it be on my computer.
Appreciate your help.

8,275 Pointswell child themes are simply a folder inside themes... did you do that?

426 PointsYes, I did. Then I was unable to activate on the website. I was in the Bluehost file manager. I just couldn't figure out the process to get it to work for the site. I feel sure I am missing a simple step. I tried the upload, download, move, and copy. Nothing worked. Out of my element now. Didn't know what else to try.
Am I going about this in the right way. Yes, I understand the child theme is a theme within the theme folder.
The BlueHost file management page is somewhat confusing as it is, to me, much different than what is used in the course lesson. Seeking help from BlueHost, but haven't heard from them yet.
Thanks for the help. Allan
