chromebook questions

I'm using a chromebook with the <txt> text editor app to do the lessons and I can't pull up and preview my page. I've got the code written, saved, and opened the chrome browser and all. Just can't figure out how to see what I've done. Thanks for any help ahead of time!!! Oh, I'm on first steps, introduction.

First of All, you made the right decision by switching to Chromebook, these machines are fast, and don't require any anti-virus. Second of all I also use text editor app, and the way to preview your page is by opening a text, saving the file as a .html file, then going into files(files is the file manager, it has the icon of a folder) opening the file. Once that is done I write my code, when I want to preview I simply just save that file, then go to the window where my file is open and refresh, or you can open it again from files.

If this doesn't work then delete text editor app and redownload it

Love my chromebook and use it all the time when on the go. If you're still using the ChromeOS you could consider a cloud coding platform. One I really like is codio.com. It works very similar to our workspaces and you can code in any language you want and preview your work. If you don't like Codio, there are a lot of other sites out there that do the same thing.

Okay awesome! I didn't notice the files tab in apps. Got it working now. Thanks! Oh, I signed up for Codio too. Started a new file but it wouldn't let me input any text. Still tinkering with it though. I just gotta figure it out. Thanks for the suggestion there by the way.
